Getting use to the drama
Sunday early morning is never easy after a nice party so Lions struggled with numbers for the first half. Coach Costa put all his 11 available players into the pitch and prayed for the best…the guys didn’t disappoint him. They ran and created many chances but lack of luck and a skilled keeper did not allow them to score. The reinforcement arrived for the second half but Charles (Eagles’ goalkeeper) had become a wall making over 12 saves in the game. Lions fans where feeling nervous while Carnegies and Magpies enjoyed the match on the side, but once again Il Gran Capitano came to rescue scoring in the 83 minute. After the goal it was just a matter of keep the ball away from Eagles and wait for the final whistle.
Too much stress but 3 points closer to the title.
